Our Story

TexasHydroTowers began with a simple goal: helping my dad take his independence back from the supermarket.

He wanted to grow his own herbs and fruits without needing a huge backyard or spending hours tending to a traditional flatbed garden. Hydroponic towers checked all the boxes, food grows faster, takes up less space, and is easier to maintain. But when we started looking, we couldn’t find a tower that was tall, durable, and affordable.

So we built one.

After many late nights of 3D design and printing, our first towers started producing food right in our backyard. Neighbors noticed. With small patios and limited garden space, they wanted the same thing. That’s how TexasHydroTowers was born.

We designed our towers to be Texas-tough:

  • Six feet tall to maximize yield while keeping enough space between plants so they don’t compete.
  • Fifteen planting sites with oversized 2” cups, giving roots room to thrive compared to cramped competitors.
  • PETG plastic, chosen because it stands up to sun, heat, and weather, not something cheap that cracks after one season.
  • Made in America, meaning high quality, tariff-free, and supporting local makers first.

Our towers mount on a simple 5-gallon bucket, making them sturdy, easy to set up, and built to last.

We believe everyone, families, apartment dwellers, homesteaders, retirees,  deserves the chance to grow fresh food at home. For us, it’s not just about gardening. It’s about independence. Independence from rising grocery prices. Independence from fragile supply chains. Independence that lets you walk outside, pick dinner, and know where it came from.

That bigger vision drives everything we do: making backyard food production accessible, affordable, and reliable. One tower, one homegrown tomato, one step closer to food security at a time.

Big Yields, Bigger Independence.
